Alumnos del Colegio japonés visitaron el Centro de Formación Komatsu

Estudiantes del Colegio Japonés de Lo Barnechea realizaron a fines de mayo una visita al Centro de Formación Komatsu (CFK) y a los talleres de Construcción y Forestal, con el objetivo de conocer en terreno la Compañía de origen japonés. La particularidad de esta escuela es que sus alumnos son niños y jóvenes japoneses que residen en Chile.

La jornada comenzó con una presentación sobre Komatsu, liderada por colaboradores japoneses de la Compañía y dirigida a todos los alumnos asistentes cuyas edades fluctuaban entre los 6 y 15 años, y a los profesores presentes en la actividad. Posteriormente, todos participaron en talleres explicativos sobre el funcionamiento de los equipos Komatsu y los diversos procesos que conllevan.

Finalizado el recorrido por las instalaciones, los docentes y estudiantes del Colegio Japonés reflejaron positivas impresiones de su estadía en Komatsu y se tomaron fotografías con los distintos equipos.

Komatsu llevará a cabo esta actividad de forma periódica, por lo que el Colegio Japonés continuará visitando las instalaciones de la Compañía. Cabe destacar que el Centro de Formación Komatsu organiza visitas para diferentes instituciones que quieran conocer las instalaciones de Komatsu a lo largo del año.[:en]Students from the Japanese School of Lo Barnechea visited the Komatsu Training Center (CFK by its initials in Spanish) and the Construction and Forestry facilities in May, with the objective of learning on-site about the Company of Japanese origin. The peculiarity of this school is that its students are Japanese children residing in Chile.

The day began with a presentation on Komatsu, led by Japanese employees of the Company and addressed to all the attending students whose ages fluctuated between 6 and 15 years old, and to the teachers present at the activity. Later, all of them participated in workshops explaining the operation of Komatsu equipment, and the various processes involved.

After the tour through the facilities, the teachers and students of the Japanese School reflected positive impressions of their visit to Komatsu and took photographs with different equipment.

Komatsu will carry out this activity periodically, so the Japanese School will continue visiting the Company’s facilities. It is noteworthy that the Komatsu Training Center organizes tours for different institutions that want to visit Komatsu facilities throughout the year.
