The Komatsu SAA6D107E-1 engine, turbocharged and aftercooled, delivers a net horsepower of 123 kW 165 hp. This engine complies with EPA Tier 3, and EU Stage 3A (equivalent) emission regulations without sacrificing engine power or work equipment productivity.

Productivity, low fuel consumption and durability

Technology and low fuel consumption

Due to its new engine controller, bigger fan with variable rotation speed, and more efficient and renewed hydraulic components, the PC210LC-10M0 excavator offers a considerable reduction in fuel consumption.

New bucket design

Komatsu redesigned the structure and shape of the new PC210LC-10M0’s bucket, providing reduced resistance and higher penetration strength, improving fuel consumption efficiency.

Safety and comfort for improved production

The base for the development of the new PC210LC-10M0 was maintaining high comfort standards and safety. A new 12 V auxiliary power supply outlet and a roller blind to protect the operator from the sun, among other new characteristics, were included to maximize comfort.

Easy cleaning coolers

Cooler cleaning made easy due to the addition of hinges to the A/C cooler, new single piece oil cooler design, and a dust mesh easily removable without tools.

New hinged A/C condenser design

Hinges were added to the A/C condenser structure, improving cooler cleaning ease.

Easy access to filters

The engine oil and fuel system filters are included in a single compartment for easy service operations.

Cyclone prefilter included as standard

Komatsu added a cyclone prefilter to the new PC210LC-10M0 to operate the machine even in dusty applications, improving filtration efficiency.

Strengthened work equipment

The boom’s center section resistance was improved through an advanced soldering penetration technique (original Komatsu technology).

Additional function brackets included as standard

Whether the equipment has or not an additional accessory function, the new PC210LC-10M0 includes piping brackets for easy installation.

ROPS/OPG operator cab

The machine has a ROPS cab which conforms to ISO 12117-2 for excavators included as standard equipment, protecting the operator if the machines tips over. It also complies with the requirements of the OPG top guard level 1 (ISO 10262) against falling objects.

Cutting edge undercarriage

Undercarriage and frames were designed with the most advanced CAD three-dimensional analysis and finite element method (FEM).

Rear camera included as standard

With the purpose of upgrading Komatsu excavators’ safety standard, the new PC210LC-10M0 includes a rear camera as standard equipment, which offers the operator a 360° panoramic view of the operation.

Features

Reduction of fuel consumption

It improves the engine fuel combustion efficiency and optimizes the hydraulic pump control. It also improves the hydraulic components work efficiency. It reduces the loss of fan power and the loss of flow pressure in hydraulic pipes.

Durability and safety

Improved structure to withstand the torsional stress caused by a more efficient bucket. The ROPS (ISO 12117-2) certified cab is pressurized and suspended on 4 silicone dampers that allow a continuous operation without vibrations or disturbing noises. It includes a rear view camera as standard, which gives the operator a full panoramic view of the work environment.

Versatility

One power mode, P, and 5 economy modes, E0, E1, E2, E3 and E4, allow for an easy adjustment of the most suitable power according to conditions and type of work to be carried out.
