- HD605-7E0
This environmentally friendly equipment has low noise level emissions during operation, a lead-free radiator and a brake oil-cooling tank.
The truck’s productivity separates itself from its competitors due to a mode selection system (variable horsepower during economy mode) and the AISS (Automatic idling setting system). It also provides an automatic retarder speed control (ARSC), a fully automatic K-ATOMiCS 7-speed transmission and hydraulically controlled oil-bath multiple-disk brakes and retarder.
The HD605-7 has a wide distance between shafts and a wide track gauge, a big high-resistance structure, a 40.0 m3 52.3 yd3 heaped capacity, and a small turning radius (8.5m 27’11”). A Payload meter (PLM) can be also installed optionally.
The machine has a wide, spacious and ergonomically designed cab with excellent visibility, an easy-to-see monitor panel, ideal driving position settings, K-ATOMICS with the Skip-Shift function, hydro-pneumatic suspensions, incorporated ROPS/FOPS, viscous mounts, an electric control lever for dumping, supplementary steering, and secondary brakes. A three-mode hydro-pneumatic suspension (automatic suspension specification) can be optionally installed.
The components of the equipment are guaranteed by Komatsu. It has highly rigid frames, a meticulous body design, a reliable hydraulic system, flat face-to-face o-ring seals, sealed DT connectors and a pedal-operated secondary brake. An antilock brake system (ABS) and an automatic spin regulator (ASR) can be optionally installed.
The equipment’s maintenance is simple, due to its advance monitoring system, fully hydraulic oil-bath multiple disc brakes, flange type rims and an electric circuit breaker.
It also has an extended oil and filter change interval, and centralized filters and grease points. A monitoring system (KOMTRAX Plus) can be optionally installed.
Komatsu, following its Ecology and Economy policy, continues to develop engines with high performance low-emission technologies, complying with the most rigorous environmental standards, such as the new EU Stage 3A and EPA Tier III emission regulations.
With this technology, Komatsu introduces its new Ecot3 engines with total electronic control system; fuel injection (Heavy-duty and high-pressure common rail); exhaust gas recirculation (EGR); air to air aftercooler and a new combustion chamber design; and NOx, PM and fuel consumption reducing systems.
