How can trees be planted more efficiently to combat global warming?

For decades, Komatsu equipment has supported the maintenance of healthy forests. Leveraging sophisticated automation, design and engineering, our forestry machines move with precision and care to remove diseased trees, harvest mature ones and, most recently, plant saplings.

With our acquisition of Bracke Forest AB in 2022, we brought in-house additional capabilities to further development of mechanized planting methods as we look to help find new ways to meet the “endless need” for healthy trees  to combat climate change. In collaboration with forestry customers and nonprofit reforestation partners, our work continues to a advance development of sustainable forest machines for the future.
