The equipment’s transmission is designed and manufactured specifically for Komatsu motor graders.

It has two transmission modes: With torque converter designed to generate power and performance, providing maximum power during gear shifting as well as auto-shift in higher ranges.

This machine also features a torque converter lock-up (auto mode), electronic control transmission, speed range selection, low effort inching pedal, and electronic overspeed protection.

The cab offers a spacious interior, suspension seat, electric throttle control, electronic monitoring system, adjustable control console, air conditioner, increased safety and excellent visibility.

The machine has accessibility to the service areas, radiator cleaning is easier due to its reversible fan, oil disc brakes are adjustment-free, and it also features a battery disconnect switch.

As part of its "Ecology and Economy" policy, Komatsu continues to develop engines with low emission technologies to deliver superior performance and comply with the strictest environmental regulations such as the new EU Level 3A emission standards (US EPA Tier III standards) equivalent.

Thus, Komatsu has launched its innovative range of Ecot3 engines which include total electronic control, fuel injection (heavy-duty high-pressure common rail), cooled exhaust gas recirculation (EGR), air-to-air for air cooling and a new combustion chamber design, significantly reducing NOx, PM, noise and fuel consumption levels.
