Productivity and economy

This equipment environmentally friendly, has low noise level emissions during operation, a lead-free radiator and a brake oil-cooling tank.

Features

Productivity

The truck’s productivity separates itself from its competitors due to a mode selection system (variable horsepower during economy mode) and the AISS (Automatic idling setting system). It also provides an automatic retarder speed control (ARSC), a fully automatic K-ATOMiCS 7-speed transmission and hydraulically controlled oil-bath multiple-disk brakes and retard.

Wide and spacious cab

The machine has a wide, spacious and ergonomically designed cab with excellent visibility, an easy-to-see monitor panel, ideal driving position settings, K-ATOMICS with the Skip-Shift function, hydro-pneumatic suspensions, incorporated ROPS/FOPS, viscous mounts, an electric control lever for dumping, supplementary steering, and secondary brakes. A three-mode hydro-pneumatic suspension (automatic suspension specification) can be optionally installed.

Reliability

The components of the equipment are guaranteed by Komatsu. It has highly rigid frames, a meticulous body design, a reliable hydraulic system, flat face-to-face O-ring seals, sealed DT connectors and a pedal-operated secondary brake. An antilock brake system (ABS) and an automatic spin regulator (ASR) can be optionally installed.

Easy maintenance

The maintenance of the equipment is simple since it has an advanced monitoring system, multiple disc brakes bathed in oil and fully hydraulic, flange type rims and electrical circuit breaker. In addition, it offers a long interval for changing oil and filters, and has a centralized arrangement of filters and greasing points. Optionally, you can install the monitor system of vehicle operation (VHMS).

Ecology & Economy - Technology 3

Komatsu, following its Ecology and Economy policy, continues to develop engines with high performance low-emission technologies, complying with the most rigorous environmental standards, such as the new EU Stage 3A and EPA Tier III emission regulations. With this technology, Komatsu introduces its new Ecot3 engines with total electronic control system; fuel injection (Heavy-duty and high-pressure common rail); exhaust gas recirculation (EGR); air to air aftercooler and a new combustion chamber design; and NOx, PM and fuel consumption reducing systems.
