The PC200LC-8M0 is strong, robust and efficient. This robust and environmentally friendly equipment provides productivity, reliability and comfort for the operator. Additionally with improved fuel consumption due to Komatsu’s innovation, total engine control and the electric and hydraulic systems.

The equipment has a turbocharged air-to-air aftercooled Komatsu SAA6D107E-1 engine, with a 103 [kW] 138 [hp] net flywheel power. The engine also complies with EPA Tier III and EU Stage 3A emission regulations without sacrificing strength or productivity.


Low fuel consumption

The SAA6D107E-1 [ecot3] engine, recently designed by Komatsu, enables NOx emission to be significantly reduced with the accurate multi-staged fuel injection by the engine controller. Improves total durability of the engine by using a high-pressure fuel injection system designed especially for construction machinery. This excavator reduces significantly hourly fuel consumption using the highly-efficient matching techniques of the engine and hydraulic unit, and also provides functions fostering energy-saving operations, such as E Mode and the ECO indicator.

New wide cab design

The cab was redesigned to have more space, a spacious seat with a fully reclining backrest without the need to remove the headrest. Its height and angle can be easily adjusted with a lever. The operator can adjust the armrest and the console to achieve a desired position.


Equipment management monitoring system (EMMS)

Monitor function: The controller monitors engine oil level, coolant temperature, battery charge, obstructions in the air filter, etc. If the controller detects any abnormality, it shows it on the LCD.

Maintenance function: The LCD monitor informs oil and filter replacement intervals when the period is due.

Trouble data memory function: The monitor stores abnormalities for a more efficient troubleshooting.

Wide LCD TFT Multi-language Monitor

A user-friendly color monitor that makes work safer, more accurate and easier. Screen visibility was improved through a TFT liquid crystal screen which can be easily read regardless of the angle and lighting conditions. Simple and user-friendly switches. State-of-the-art function buttons make the use of multiple functions easier.

Shows data in 10 different languages to support operators worldwide.

Ecology & Economy - Technology 3

Komatsu, following its Ecology and Economy policy, continues to develop engines with high performance low-emission technologies, complying with the most rigorous environmental standards, such as the new EU Stage 3A and EPA Tier III emission regulations.

With this technology, Komatsu introduces its new ECOT-3 engines with total electronic control system; fuel injection (Heavy-duty and high-pressure common rail); exhaust gas recirculation (EGR); air to air aftercooler and a new combustion chamber design; and NOx, PM and fuel consumption reducing systems.
