The first edition of the Komatsu Sales Training (KST), held in Lima this year, brought together sales executives from 14 Spanish-speaking countries with the aim of acquiring theoretical and practical knowledge of Komatsu products, as well as soft skills training oriented to the sale of equipment by Wilson Learning.
The event took place over 4 days and was attended by 71 people from the distributor network. It is worth mentioning that KST will soon be expanded to English-speaking countries.
These training sessions are being carried out for the first time and as a strategic approach to generate greater retail sales through the development of a training program for the distributors’ sales force, since they are the “one face” with the customers. The KST focuses on the differentiating attributes of Komatsu equipment and on-site activities, such as the “face-off”, which show the superiority of our equipment over the competition.
Participants live a first-hand experience where they acquire valuable tools for sales processes and thus, continue to position the growth of the brand in the region.

There was a panel of experts where it was possible to address different dimensions, such as: commercial technical training of equipment, productivity calculations, fleet sizing, sustainability, marketing promotional material, sales skills, technology and the introduction of SmartConstruction.
