Komatsu recently announced a global sponsorship agreement with Williams Racing to become the team’s main partner in Formula 1 racing.
This multi-year agreement will bring the Komatsu brand to millions of people around the world during the 2024 FIA Formula 1 World Championship season and in subsequent years where the Komatsu logo appears prominently on Williams Racing’s 2024 race car, as well as on driver and staff liveries.
This partnership offers an opportunity on a global scale to reach new groups and a broader swath of the general public. The intention is to drive interest in the Komatsu brand and offer new experiences for dealers to engage with and encourage the team.

The most notable achievements were in 1996 and 1997, when Komatsu supported Williams Racing in the Constructors and Drivers championship with Damon Hill and Jacques Villeneuve respectively.
This partnership will bring to life the Creating value together brand promise with partners, associates, distributors, customers and racing fans, both on and off the track.
