Versatility, fuel efficiency and operator comfort

D51EX-22

  • Operating weight 14,000 kg (30,865 lb)
  • Net flywheel power (SAE) 130 hp (97 kW) @ 2,200 rpm
  • Blade capacity (SAE) 2.9 m³ (3.8 yd³)

Fuel efficiency

The power of the Komatsu engine, incorporated with the new innovations of the D51EX-22 crawler tractor, makes fuel consumption highly efficient, making the machine the logical choice for leveling and rolling operations. The engine is turbocharged and features direct fuel injection and air-to-air aftercooling capabilities to maximize horsepower with minimal fuel consumption and to meet pollutant emission control standards. To minimize noise and vibration, the engine is mounted on the mainframe to international ISO quality standards.

Features

Hydrostatic Transmission Control System (HST)

The HST control system monitors motor output power and workload. It controls the displacement of the motor and the HST pump to provide optimum speed and traction force. The total power in both tracks during turns or counter-rotation makes the D51EX-22 extremely maneuverable.

PAT blade with adjustable pitch

The D51EX-22 crawler tractor features a tilt and hydraulic angulation blade with a long-lasting frame. These functions together with the mechanically adjustable pitch extend versatility and productivity in a wide variety of applications. The blade made of high strength steel and tested under rigorous standards provides greater strength to the equipment.

Palm Commanded Lever Control System (PCCS)

Komatsu's ergonomic design gives the operator a comfortable posture and exceptional working capabilities in the operation. Shifting gears can be applied at one touch, as well as directional movements, displacement, and counter-rotation with low effort for the operator.
