Students from the Japanese School of Lo Barnechea visited the Komatsu Training Center (CFK by its initials in Spanish) and the Construction and Forestry facilities in May, with the objective of learning on-site about the Company of Japanese origin. The peculiarity of this school is that its students are Japanese children residing in Chile.
The day began with a presentation on Komatsu, led by Japanese employees of the Company and addressed to all the attending students whose ages fluctuated between 6 and 15 years old, and to the teachers present at the activity. Later, all of them participated in workshops explaining the operation of Komatsu equipment, and the various processes involved.
After the tour through the facilities, the teachers and students of the Japanese School reflected positive impressions of their visit to Komatsu and took photographs with different equipment.
Komatsu will carry out this activity periodically, so the Japanese School will continue visiting the Company’s facilities. It is noteworthy that the Komatsu Training Center organizes tours for different institutions that want to visit Komatsu facilities throughout the year.
